Among the rolling hills of Piedmont, in the heart of Roero, lies Canale, a welcoming town that enchants visitors with its beautiful hills, rich in vineyards, and with a quiet and authentic atmosphere. Canale is an ideal destination for those seeking a corner of serenity surrounded by nature and far from the chaos of the big cities although it is located a handful of kilometers from Alba, Asti and is no more than an hour and a half from Turin, Milan and Genoa. The town boasts a long history and its historic center is a true gem with cobbled streets, enchanting squares, porticos along the main street, clubs and small shops where you can find the best specialties. Canale has many services such as supermarkets, pharmacies and its Tuesday morning market in the historic center is much loved. One of its flagships are the restaurants where you can taste the best traditional dishes but the tastings in the cellar, the hiking trails, the indoor or summer pools, the gym rather than the beautiful light and colors of the landscape are absolutely not to be overlooked.
