The location was ideal for the purpose of our visit. Having free on‑site parking was a great convenience, and the host provided clear, detailed instructions that made everything easy. The property is just a short walk from the train station and surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars, which made getting around and enjoying the area effortless.
The property had a few issues that affected our stay. There was no microwave, which made preparing simple meals a bit inconvenient.
One of the lounge windows had a broken lock, which was concerning given that the property is on the ground floor and made us feel less secure as a family.
We were also unable to open the living room curtains to let in natural light because laundry had been left drying on an electric rack directly beneath the window ledge throughout our stay.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the main bathroom and toilet was below the expected standard.

This is a modern design, spacious property in a great central london location. We travelled by car, there is an underground private parking space with gated entrances only accessible by the building's tenants, so good security. The price for this location and size is quite reasonable. The building has good entrance security with a keyfob access, which is good for a ground floor property. There is a spacious sitting room with open plan kitchen, with washing machine and dishwasher and working hob.
The property has all the marks of a great stay, except for all the below mentioned problems. It is a great shame as the location and layout of the property lends itself for a very high-end stay, let down by the condition and way it is managed.
The fob to enter the car gate didn't work and took about an hour for us to sort out, only with the help of another resident from the building. The property owner didn't respond to any communication until the next day, they provided a local contact who was responsive, but wasn't able to completely resolve the issue over the phone. Another resident gave us access within a timeframe that thankfully didn't incur a ticket.
The cleanliness of the property was poor. The carpet throughout the property has a lot of stains. There was an electric dryer with drying bedding from the previous visitors drying in the sitting room. Both bathrooms had minimal toiletries provided and the handsoap had been clearly diluted with water. Some of the pots in the kitchen smelled awful.
The condition of the property was mixed, whilst it is a modern design it clearly isn't well looked after. Two of the curtains are damaged on one side. One of the bathrooms was missing a mirror, the other had small mould along the silicone in the shower floor. The bed mattresses have a fair bit of sag and made sleeping uncomfortable for some of our older guests.
