GuestHost - Casa Carlotta - Lovely and Roomy Apartment

The location was good and the property was spacious. The bedding was clean. The kitchen was well-appointed and cute. We enjoyed hearing the trains right outside the window. The bathrooms were clean. The courtyard was secured and had beautiful flowers that were thriving. It was nice and quiet.

When we arrived at the property it was surprising that we had to park several blocks away from the property at a parking lot. We had understood that we could park in front of the property and fortunately a gentleman who lived downstairs was able to tell my husband that we couldn't park by the property and told him about the public parking lot several blocks away. We don't speak Italian and the other guy didn't speak English but my husband had a translation ap. If we would've left our car close to the property I don't know what could've happened. The biggest disappointment was the dirty floors which didn't make a good first impression. It seemed as if they had not been swept or vacuumed for a long time with lots of dust balls. I cleaned them but that was NOT something I would've expected. Once I cleaned the floors and did some mild cleaning I felt much better. Several of the screens were stuck/broken so we couldn't open all the shutters to allow natural light in. Once those issues are addressed and taken care of the apartment would be very nice. Another thing that was surprising was that in the photos the sofas were a pretty, bright gold color that looked so sharp and comfy. They ended up having sofa covers on them that slipped and didn't stay very neat. I'm guessing they were trying to protect the sofas but then they should show them with the covers on in the photos because it truly is a different look. The apartment almost looked as if someone lives there and moves out when it's booked for a guest based on the miscellaneous things that were laying around.

+ Die Wohnung befindet sich in fussläufiger Nähe zur Altstadt; direkt neben einer viel befahrenen Bahnstrecke, hat allerdings sehr effektive Schallschutzfenster. Die Betten waren gut.

— Die auf den Bildern gezeigten Polstermöbel waren unter hässlichen Überziehern verborgen. Es war schmutzig und wirkte eher ungepflegt. Wir würden die Wohnung so nicht wieder mieten. Sie entsprach nicht dem Standard den wir sonst in Italien gewohnt waren!
