La Dolce Vita Centro Storico

First impressions were that we were very happy to have arrived and to find the apartment in such good order. I love to cook ..so having a well organized and properly supplied kitchen was great! The upstairs bedroom is absolutely lovely. And the lower one is very nice..even though the windows were very small and it was decidedly cooler. Location could not have been better as it’s within minutes of the main Piazza for shopping ..including great food to purchase as well as many restaurants for plated service. The entire main level is bright and attractive. Time has been spent on decor details that are both understated yet eye catching. The area is very quiet and secure. We liked that the exterior street door opened onto a private courtyard, where one can dry clothes . One charming feature that is not in the descriptive write up is the morning serenade from the opera singer , next door to this apartment. He entertained us with lovely arias from time to time…but never during quiet hours. A very respectful neighbour.

It may seem like a small detail to some , but given my near accident and injury , I am going to describe what happened. In the online photo of the couch , one sees a lovely seated area that is in good condition. The reality is that this piece of furniture is broken and beyond comfort. The couch is very low and we, older people , need to secure a hand hold before lowering ourselves onto the seated area. I used my right hand to grab the sofa arm as I descended onto this low platform. My hand immediately jabbed into splintered wood. There was no way to break my fall onto the sofa as I was already in the process of letting my body relax into the cushion.. The splintered armrest was hidden under a couch cover. This sofa needs to be replaced immediately. I am very lucky that I didn’t drive the splintered wood into my palm. Tante piccole cose ma soprattutto la pulizia, la premura di coccolare gli ospiti e poi, la disponibilità della proprietaria Laura, è un valore aggiunto. Una delle pochissime strutture migliori, dove ho soggiornato e, viaggiamo abbastanza in Italia e all'estero.

Nulla da dire

Molto centrale, istruzioni per raggiungerlo perfette, dettagliate, tutto semplice, Laura super gentile all'arrivo e anche al checkout. Molto consigliabile, le due camere sono distanti una dall'altra, quindy privacy assicurata.
