I wanted somewhere on the edge of Bath and close to The Rondo Theatre in Larkhall. The Sanctuary is about an 8 minute drive on well-lit roads and has allocated parking space.. In the morning there was a great view across the valley. and we could get to Marlborough and (on the final day) Basingstoke without going through the town..
A very clean and well-designed apartment and comfortable bed. . Loved the coconut-scented shower gel.
Very little really - the steel staircase down to the apartments was OK even in the wet but might have presented a problem if you have mobility issues.
The "Trossachs Lodge" house sign that indicated the allocated parking has had a name change - reading "Abbey Rectory" on one side and blank on the other. The shape of the sign board is very distinctive so there no problem identifying it.

Good facilities and location
There was a man walking up and down, not sure who he was. He might have been a maintenance guy or the owner. If the owner, it would have been nice if he introduced himself. Made us feel a bit awkward.

Lovely furnishings, spacious and well equipped. More than big enough for two adults and a child. My son (10) slept comfortably on the sofa bed. The king size bed was also comfortable. Off street parking very close by. Very clean.
The bedroom had no window ergo no fire escape or ventilation. It was very hot at night despite the heating being off but there was no way of cooling the room down. I would question the legality of this arrangement.
