Todo estuvo bien, ya sabíamos que no había ascensor. Pero tampoco una vez que subes ya está ;)

First of all, the location is excellent. It’s right in the city center, within easy reach of everything you might need. There are very convenient options nearby such as bike rental shops (we highly recommend Giant) and supermarkets like Jumbo, which is well stocked and offers a great variety of products. This made our stay very practical and comfortable in terms of day-to-day logistics.
The host was also a strong point: very responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with, which we really appreciated.
However, there are a couple of things future guests should be aware of. The apartment is located up three floors of very steep, narrow stairs, which are typical in the Netherlands but can be challenging, especially with luggage.
The main downside of our stay was a persistent and unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke throughout the apartment. Unfortunately, it was present everywhere, from the living room to the bedsheets and pillows, and we couldn’t get rid of it during our stay. This significantly affected our comfort.
