About this apartment rental
Our modern furnished, spacious vacation apartment is located in the beautiful Schlitzerland.
It consists of two comfortably furnished bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a modern living area. The loggia with a view of the Antoniusberg invites you to enjoy the evenings in comfort.
Our house is centrally located in a beautiful, rural area surrounded by the Vogelsberg, Rhön and Knüll mountains. There are numerous excursion destinations for young and old. It is located directly on the street, but the soundproof windows ensure a quiet atmosphere in the apartment.
The R1 cycle path is only 100m away from our house. You can easily reach Fulda, Bad Hersfeld & various excursion destinations via it. Such bike tours can be perfectly planned with the Vulkanexpress.
The Schlitzerland also offers numerous sights. These include what is probably the oldest distillery in Europe, an outdoor pool, Lake Pfordter, the State Music Academy and a beautiful, historic old town. The Hinterturm is one of the must-see highlights here.
Every two years, the international Schlitzerland traditional costume festival takes place on the 2nd weekend in July.
During the Christmas season, the half-timbered houses on the market square are transformed into a winter wonderland. On the Advent weekends, you can get in the mood for Christmas at the Schlitz Christmas market under the world's largest candle.
Hikers also get their money's worth in the Schlitz countryside. There are many signposted hiking trails. Our personal highlight is exploring the five summit crosses in the Schlitz region.
