Très belle salle de séjour, parfaitement éqiuipée. Bon emplacement. Une très belle chambre. Les deux autreq sont beaucoup plus sommaires (en fait une chambre coupée en deux par une cloison partielle). Parfait pour une famille avec enfants. Moins adaptés à des amis voyageant ensemble.

Je n'avais pas reçu le code de la boîte à clés, d'où un très moment passé à la porte du chalet. heureusement, le service clients de Booking a pu nous dépanner! Le propriétaire n'est pas joignable par téléphone (il est australien).

We really liked the cozy mountain chalet decor, and the kitchen was supplied with a nice arrange of utensils. The view was beautiful out over the mountains and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

There was no internet when we arrived. It was hours later when we finally discovered that the modem was unplugged for no obvious reason. Communication with the owner was okay prior to our arrival but after that it was crickets. Tried reaching out about getting the internet connection solved but no response. There was no room for us to park our car on arrival since two other cars were already parked in the designated area, taking up the entire driveway. Photos and description of the “chalet” are somewhat misleading — in the listing it said “the entire place is yours” but there is actually someone living in the first two floors, so only the third floor living area and upper, small attic were for our use. The living/dining, kitchen, and patio area was very nice, but the three tiny bedrooms upstairs are awkwardly cramped in the attic with a very low ceiling (we kept hitting our heads.) One small bathroom with a tub that could not function as a shower. No extra toilet paper to be found, so we had to borrow a roll from the people downstairs. Duvet cover in the master bedroom is very old/worn and is in need of a refresh. Sofa set in the living room is uncomfortably low to the ground and difficult to climb out of. Coffee pot was dirty from the previous user and there was an old capsule stuck inside the Nespresso machine. No fresh coffee capsules, paper towels, sugar, dry creamer, or any of the basics provided. No tea towels anywhere - I was glad we brought our own. The chalet is a basic winter retreat where the owner has obviously spent good times with his family, but for paying guests who want to feel welcomed for a weekend away, the Sycamore Chalet just doesn’t cut it. Nobody checked in with us after we arrived, and we could not even reach anyone when we needed to solve the internet issue. No small gift basket or even a jar of jam, no coffee capsules to welcome us or an extra roll of toilet paper.
