La Darsena di Riva Grande is located right on the lake in beautiful Moltrasio. (Just a 15 minute taxi ride from the Como train station) You can walk to many great restaurants, a gelataria and the ferry station in under 10 minutes. (The ferry gets you to Belagio and Varenna in less than 2 hours) You’ll also be greeted by incredible views from your private balcony or on the lower dock. There’s not a better place to wake up on Lake Como!
We were met by Sabrina at checkin. She is a wonderful host who helps also with finding excursions (boat tours, plane tours, you name it). The kitchen is tastefully stocked with treats on your stay.

Sabrina welcomed us with wine and goodies! Balcony was ON the lake. Moonrise was spectacular and the views are breathtaking. Plan on parking a couple hundred meters away if you have a car. Very nice place - we will be back!
