Favolosa Suite con Terrazzo

Convenient location close to train station, but also just a short walk into old town area. A good, clean, spacious space for two, with the basic things you need - and a terrace you can enjoy if the weather is cooperative (it wasn’t for us ). We had some issues getting into the apartment and working some of the appliances, and host Frederico was always VERY friendly and quickly responsive to assist us: he was really great. There was a rather large and surprisingly excellent restaurant right around the corner (“Rosso”?) on the way into town with HUGE variety in the menu - they are famous for their meat dishes but also had a LOT of fantastic vegetarian and even vegan options.

The street it’s located in looks/feels a bit “shabby” (although once you’re in the building it feels very safe + secure). It seems the apartment is not quite “finished” - there are still unmounted shower accessories and towel racks laying around and in drawers that need to be installed. We also could have used more toilet paper (two rolls for two people for four days was pushing it), and there were no paper towels or tea towels whatsoever. Would also really be convenient to have a sheet with information on how to work the induction stove, because I am surely not the only person who has almost never used one.

Ideally located near the Vicenza train station, this apartment is incredibly convenient, with a large Lidl supermarket right around the corner. Our host, Federico, was exceptionally responsive and welcomed us with a thoughtful bottle of wine. The space itself is bright and spacious, featuring a very comfortable bed and a well-equipped, compact kitchenette. We also enjoyed the modern walk-in shower and the lovely long terrace - perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

La stanza era impregnata di fumo di sigaretta, compresi i cuscini, come se qualcuno vi soggiornasse abitualmente fumando: per me, sincertamente è stato difficile passare la notte e quando sono arrivato a casa ho dovuto lavare tutti i miei abiti. Il titolo "Favolosa suite con terrazzo" mi sembra un po' esagerato per quel tipo di stabile e per la sua collocazione.
