About this house rental
Cocoonr/Book&Pay offers this charming 75 m² house with air conditioning and sauna for rent in Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes, less than 2 kilometres from Plage des bateaux with its famous waterfall and less than 5 kilometres from Omaha beach. It can accommodate up to 6 people. It has a lovely 20 m² living room, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom and a garden of around 4,000 m². Wifi (fibre optics), sheets and towels included, we're waiting for you!
Le Normandy and Le Guillaume, which are located on the same site, can be rented out to provide a maximum capacity of 12 additional travellers (18 in total). Please do not hesitate to contact us.
The accommodation is as follows:
Ground floor
- A 20 m² living room with TV, sofa, etc.
- A fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, hob, etc.
- Bedroom 1: with a double bed (140×200)
- Bathroom with double washbasin, spa bath and sauna
- Separate WC
First floor
- Bedroom 2: with two single beds
- Bedroom 3: with double sofa bed
- WC and single washbasin
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: communal barbecue, high chair, cot, plancha.
Outside:
- A beautiful enclosed garden of 4,000 m² with sliding gate and digicode, shared with two other dwellings.
- A terrace with furniture to enjoy the fine weather
- Jacuzzi (sleeps 9) shared with two other properties, open from 1 April to 1 October. A parent is responsible for all children swimming. Opening dates are non-contractual and subject to favourable weather conditions.
- An outdoor kitchen shared with two other accommodations
- Petanque court shared with two other properties
- Children's play area shared with two other homes
The house is ideally located in Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes, in a very pleasant environment. You'll be close to all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, etc.
Activities :
- Visits to WW2 museums
- Bayeux Tapestry
- Several water sports activities
Transport :
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house's private car park, which can accommodate up to 2 cars.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train station: Caen and Saint-Lô train stations are about 44 minutes away by car.
- Nearest airport: Caen-Carpiquet airport, about 35 minutes by car
Other remarks :
- Bed linen and towels included.
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use.
- All requests for arrival or departure outside the times indicated are subject to the availability of the person in charge of reception. A flat-rate supplement may be charged.

Le D-DAY Our staying at Aure sur Mer was very good. The location was really good to visit the monumental places and enjoy the beach side. The sauna was an extra benefit. It was nice and clean but it was a bit small for 6 people. It would be best for the family of 4. It looks like a very new place therefore the facilities are very basic. The garden was big and nicely green to play between kids. Overall. it is a nice place to stay.

Le D-DAY "Lovely holiday home, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Stéphane our host was excellent and flexible with our arrival/departure times. 5-10 minutes from Port-en-Bessin, which is a lovely fishing port with plenty of restaurants, grocery shops and a great little boulangerie for morning bread and mid-morning cakes!
Enough space for a family of 4, balcony is currently being worked on, but the terrace on the ground floor was plenty for us during our stay. We enjoyed a game of petanque, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed checking on the progress of the robot lawn mower.
We'd definitely stay again if we were in the area."

Le D-DAY We had a great stay here. The place looks brand new and was comfortable. Great location and easy to get around the area with a car. Beds were comfortable and it was very private. The sauna was a dream come true after weeks of travel.

Le D-DAY Great location, especially for families with Children. Gated area which allowed for kids to play without worry of wandering into streets. House is located 10 min drive from Omaha beach memorial and 10 mins from port city with lots of great restaurants. Would recommend staying here, especially as the built in Sauna and A/C were added benefits.
