The location was excellent for walking into the city centre, a pleasant 20 minute walk along the canal path. Compared to the much more expensive properties in the city centre it was a reasonable price. The house was comfortable and just big enough of a party of four adults. Generous welcome pack.
The bathroom door needs attention as it squeaks loudly which meant anyone using the loo in the night woke everyone up. The frying pan and wok need replacing as they were badly burned. We were a bit disconcerted with the amount of open packets of food left in the cupboards, fridge and freezer. It meant there wasn't an empty cupboard to put our own food in.

The house is absolutely stunning. Finished to a high level, beautifully furnished. Lots of lovely and thoughtful extras provided. Stunning flowers, a fridge stocked with milk, orange juice and snacks. A number of breakfast options available.
The host even provided alternative milk for my sister who is allergic to dairy. This was greatly appreciated for making hot drinks after a long journey from the North.
I would happily stay here again
