There was plenty of space for a large family and a nice view from the porch. We're from the coast so the weather was amazing. The house is convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock, restaurants and hiking trails. We enjoyed the pool table, fire pit and hot tub. The neighborhood was peaceful and we felt immersed in nature with hummingbirds on the front hill and deer passing by in the woods.
When we arrived the floors were very slippery with a greasy feel like the cleaning agent wasn't rinsed or maybe they used Murphy oil soap. Just noting because it could be a fall hazard. After returning from a hike, we discovered we were locked out of the second level because someone accidentally locked the interior deadbolt and there was no other way to get in ( the 2nd level door battery was dead and the key in the lock box went to the lower level). Vacasa put in a maintenance request but we were eventually able to get the door open. We enjoyed the hot tub but it may have been a little over chlorinated. Overall, the kitchen was well stocked. Would recommend another spatula and stocking with more than 2 trash bags for 10 people since all trash had to be bagged.
All are easy fixes and we enjoyed our stay.
