We have just returned from a great weekend visiting Oban , we were very pleased with the studio room accommodation we had in the Kelvin Hotel . The staff were very welcoming and friendly , the rooms very clean and spacious. To make the weekend more memorable was the welcome we received on the Friday evening when we returned to the hotel lounge , the staff and guests had a great time chatting and listening to Michael and his daughter entertaining everyone with the accordion and beat box music, a great surprise and enjoyable evening for us all. I would recommend this Hotel accommodation to anyone looking to visit the lovely town of Oban.

We booked in for two nights. Both the double room and the studio were clean, spacious and comfortable! The beds were heaven. The hotel is placed a little bit out of the town, but really close to the ferry which was perfect for us since we were exploring Mull and going on a wildlife tour. We could eat breakfast in the studio’s kitchenette, then head to the ferry, explore, come back to the Kelvin, enjoy dinner in town, then come back for a great night’s sleep. All in all, everything we could ask for!
