Unfortunately we had no hot water for almost all of our 2 night stay (only on the morning we checked out). Water only luke warm in shower. We raised this early in our stay but it was not promptly fixed and we did not receive any gesture for the inconvenience - especially given the cold! On our first night the heating did not work as well, so we slept terribly! The first breakfast we had we were told the eggs were not delivered so no a la Carte menu. Unclear why eggs could be purchased from the supermarket next door. Convenient location and well styled but for *** AUD a night, I expected a lot more (and certainly a hot shower)! Needs to improve facilities and service.

We have just spent two nights at Hotel Brun. The hotel is well located only a few minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore. We had a two bedroom arrangement (each with its own bathroom). The room was generous and homely. The minibar was complimentary and the breakfast had a reasonably good selection. The standout here was the staff. Very engaged and very helpful with restaurant recommendations and bookings, bag storage and transport - they seemed happy to be there.
