Staff was great, the athmophere was lovely and the location peaceful!

On the plus side, the breakfast was delightful and the staff were attentive. The pool was also very refreshing. Room was clean and the property well cared for.
However, here are several ideas to improve the experience.
1. Larger TV in the room. When lying in bed, it was difficult to read any of the text onscreen. Given the screen distance, I would recommend at least a 40 inch screen. You have the wall space to support it.
2. Additional blankets in the room. I called for an additional blanket on the first evening and was advised that only housekeeping could deliver it and only a couple of sheets could be delivered that evening. Empower your staff to solve problems for your clients.
3. A place to hold luggage - not just on the floor. A table or luggage rack would be useful.
4. An expanded menu. The choices are limited if staying for an extended period.
5. Two of the four pillows provided are too soft to be useful.

This property is absolutely amazing! The food is fresh and flavourful, the drinks are delicious, the views are unbeatable, but the best thing about it is the incredible people that work there. My husband and I had the privilege of staying with Akre for our honeymoon and we will be regulars going forward. Do not miss out on this gem!

Best hotel that we’ve been. The room was perfect with the hot tub. The view was unreal. The staff was so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It’s quiet and very clean. The food was also amazing and it was fresh.
