I had a wonderful stay at Kavuras Resort. The location is great, close to the beautiful beaches and with easy access to town. The pool area was fantastic, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a really relaxing base for exploring Naxos.
The only drawback was that the hotel isn’t right on the beach or walking distance. The private area is set apart from the main stretch of Agios Prokopios and can be a little tricky to reach, so it’s not as convenient as staying directly by the water.

All of the staff members at Kavuras Village were lovely and very helpful when needed. The pool is beautiful and I enjoyed spending time there. The view of the ocean from the property is stunning. The breakfast buffet was also great. I felt like there was a nice variety between eggs, meat, veggies, and sweet treats.
This property is advertised as a 4-star hotel but it's probably a 3-star property at best (2-star if I'm being honest). I felt that the room, particularly the bathroom, was extremely outdated and needed renovation. The sheets on the bed were quite stiff, and there were multiple occasions when we had ants in the room. Kavuras Village is located at the top of a hill, and it's about a 15-20 minute walk down to the main restaurants and attractions in Agios Prokopios. However, there are no sidewalks, and the road is not very well-lit. I would caution against staying here if you're not planning to have a car during your trip. There is a shuttle from the hotel down to the beach once an hour between 10am-5pm, which is nice, but if you want to stay in the town longer, you either have to walk on the dark road or pay €20 for a 5-minute taxi back to the hotel. It would've been nice if the shuttle ran later into the evening.
While the pool area is lovely, the chairs were stained, and many of them had rips in them. They just didn't look very well-maintained. The food at the restaurant wasn't great...during our last evening, my friend ordered the shrimp risotto, and it tasted like it wasn't seasoned properly, and may have been microwaved rather than made fresh.
Finally, my friend and I wanted to rent a car for a couple of days, and we decided to go with a company that was recommended to us by this hotel. This company ended up scamming us out of nearly €800 for damages to the bumper that don't even exist. When we raised our concerns to the staff at Kavuras Village, their response was simply, "Oh, well our other guests didn't have any issues with this company." While ultimately they're not responsible for what happens between guests and the car rental agency, you'd think that they would've cared a bit more about how one of their supposed partners treated guests who were staying at their hotel.
