This hotel boasts a historic design with timber construction, offering a unique charm and spacious accommodations. I stayed in a twin bedroom featuring two comfortable queen-size beds and a separate living area. The room was clean and well-equipped, although the lighting was a bit dim, it was acceptable overall. Guests can enjoy unlimited coffee, tea, and soft-serve ice cream at the reception, my child was especially delighted with the ice cream. The staff are exceptionally friendly, even helping me print a country park permit free of charge. With free parking included, I highly recommend this hotel in the Murphy region, especially if you plan to visit Spicer Sno Park or Calaveras Big Tree State Park.

...with microwaves and mini-fridges. Sauna! Pool! But (to borrow from a famous local author) the rumours of free breakfast are greatly exaggerated.
