    This is a dreadful hotel and I’ve no idea how they got their rating. In a double room we had 1 bedside table and no bedside lamps. If you are only going to have one light in the room you could at least dust the lampshade. It was grubby everywhere (including the staff that greeted us) except admittedly for the bed. The shower head fell off all the time during use but the water was at least hot. And don’t for one second believe you’re getting a decent breakfast never mind cooked. The cheapest bread and some cheap Cheerios is about your lot. Okay, bed was comfy, coffee was okay and the shower was hot. But nothing would drag me back to this miserable place. Couldn’t get out fast enough.

    Two friends and myself stayed for one night when attending an event a fee miles away. Room was clean and practical and bathroom was spotless. We also had breakfast and the dining room was also pleasant. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
