Excellent check in, quick stroll to city center and Christmas markets. City is hilly so there are stairs! Hotel has charming gnome garden, and places to sit, with blankets if it’s chilly. Nice breakfast buffet. Staff was lovely.

The room was good. The staff were all very nice and friendly. They all were so pleasant and accommodating. The best staff.

The vineyard looked terrible as it is still winter in Basel. The wifi was extremely weak and sometimes I could not connect at all. Visitors should be advised of the very weak strength of the Wifi. What a disappointment!
