About this apartment rental
This sun-filled apartment is on the 3rd-floor of the stunning Astoria building. A beautiful residence from the Belle Epoque, it is just 30 metres from the beach and the Biovès Gardens, in the heart of Menton. The apartment, which sleeps 4 people, is a stylish base for a family or friends who want to explore this eternally popular part of the Côte d’Azur.
The entrance to the Astoria is an impressive open hall with a wide staircase. The elevator will take guests to their contemporary-styled apartment, which has been renovated so is light and airy. The spacious living area is furnished with two sofas and an elegant glass dining table, which is next to French windows leading out onto a small balcony. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge/freezer.
Sleeping
Bedroom: The sunny master bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe, plus a balcony
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.
Crib available on request (to avoid choking risks we do not provide sheets or pillows for the crib).
Bathroom
The newly renovated bathroom is equipped with a large glass shower, basin and WC

Location
The vibrant town of Menton lies between Monaco (20 minutes) and the Italian border (15 minutes). It is known for its temperate climate, exotic gardens, beautiful beaches and the Medieval Old Town. It has been a popular holiday resort for over a century and with good reason. Menton offers a tempting mix of history, culture, fine cuisine and pure relaxation all year round.
Centrally located, guests will find all the amenities such as a bakery, pharmacy and supermarket less than 50m from their front door. For the best local produce, head to the covered market, Le Marché des Halles, on Quai de Monleon (13 minute walk). Every day of the week you can find the finest regional food including cheese, fish, charcuterie etc.
The apartment is just a 15-minute walk from the Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets and historic architecture. The Baroque Basilica of St Michel towers over the buildings which slope down to the Old Port (20-minute walk). Here you will find some of the world’s most expensive yachts. For more glamour, head to the Casino Barrière Menton (5 minute walk. Here you will find restaurants and entertainment, as well as roulette and blackjack tables. For a swim in the Mediterranean Sea, the beach (La Plage de Borrigo) is just a 1-minute walk.
Nice airport is just 35 minutes away. The airport shuttle bus stop is opposite the building entrance. Alternatively, Menton railway station is a 5-minute walk.
