Access was really easy. The apartment was sparkling clean and appointed to perfection. The attention to detail in terms of the design and layout is obvious. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent; immaculate and modern. The location is great in terms of access to the town, it's practically on your doorstep. I can't stress enough how obvious it is that they care - the apartments are quite simply very nice places to be in.
It's almost unfair to mention, but unfortunately unavoidable, that noise at night and in the early morning is an issue. There's a Wetherspoons round the corner that's lively, but not quite as lively as the racket of their bins being filled and emptied at regular intervals... Usually when you're trying to sleep. As an added bonus, there was also a scaffolder clanging poles all morning on one of the days, right outside, and burgler alarm all night on another. Something about the building means this sound really travels. I understand there isn't a great deal the hosts can do, as otherwise we stayed in a lovely and well-appointed apartment in a central location, but the noise is a genuine problem and it's important to mention for those it may affect, particularly families with very young children. Aside from that, nearby parking is available at a price but it might get pricey for longer stays, unless you're happy moving it off the street at 8am everyday (£20.60 for 48hrs in the car park opposite).
