About this farm stay rental
Perfect place to get the whole family together on Orcas- 5 min form Eastsound! Enjoy 4 bd + bonus room, 2.5 bath, wrap around porch, large kitchen, family room, tv, wifi, games, all in one of the best neighborhoods on Orcas. Walk/bike to the beach, town restaurants, dog park, coffee and cute shops. Only 10-15 min drive to Moran state park, lakes and hiking. Included free for guests! Kayaks, bikes, paddle boards! Local artist's home - private painting lessons or paint n sip workshops available!
About this Space:
Very comfortable cozy farm house. We bought this farmhouse 5 years ago and put in a brand new kitchen, bathroom, new carpets, flooring, and appliances and artist studio, chicken coop, garden and fire pit to sit outside and enjoy the stars. An artist lovers home with a zen rustic farmhouse decor.
Included in your stay: We have 3 kayaks, a paddle board as well as 2 adult mountain bikes and 2 child bikes

Kitchen/ dining area opens up to the wrap around porch where you can enjoy plenty of outdoor seating , views of the ocean, or watch the stars as you snuggle up on the 2 porch swings. There is a fire pit with plenty of firewood for those nights when s'mores are a must! We have a safe quiet neighborhood, usually the only things you hear are the wind in the trees and owls calling at night. We do have amazing neighbors nearby but the house is very private surrounded by trees.
Because there are homes nearby we request quiet after hours.
The home is 2500 sq ft providing lots of space, 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 extra bedroom downstairs, as well as a closed off living room with 2 single mattress's if needed.
Quality furnishings with a modern rustic theme, allowing guests to relax in comfort. You'll have an opportunity to watch shows on the 60" HDTV with complimentary access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu.
In the kitchen and dining area, you'll find everything needed to prepare your own meals in the well-stocked kitchen, gas stove, chefs fridge, with a large table and ample seating. Large island as well as farm house table and chairs perfect for a large family.
The Master bedroom features a King-sized bed while one guest bedroom features a king, one bedroom a queen and one bedroom a full sized bed.
(There are also 2 single mattress's that can be arranged in extra space if needed)
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home and property.
Please note: This our home, so we have our personal items, art, kids things, etc around .. so please be respectful of our private property. Also, if you have small children please let us know so we can try to put things out of reach! :)

We have a farm cat that lives on the property, his name is Willow. He is outside mostly and you might not even see him. Once he knows you he's very friendly and will come in the house if you let him.
The Art Gallery "Wandering Soul" is adjacent to the house as well but open only by appt. Want to brush up on your painting skills? Ask about paint n sip workshops ( a perfect fun group activity during the evening! Or ask about a personal painting lesson!

Overall, a nice big house with plenty of room to spread out in a nice neighborhood close to the town of Eastbound. There is a big yard with a large outside deck with chairs and picnic table for eating outside. Unfortunately, the bikes were not ready to use and the kayaks were too big to fit in our car to get to the water, so although it was advertised, we were not able to use either which was a bummer.This is definitely a home that is lived in throughout the year as two of the rooms are kid rooms and there’s one very large room with a separate bathroom. The bathroom upstairs worked, but there was something broken in it that needed to be fixed. The AC unfortunately broke while we were there and the TV remote didn’t have a battery and we needed to use one of our cables from our phone to hook up the firestick to get the TV to work. We had two families staying here, so we ended up cooking a lot, but not all the pots and pans that we needed were there and there were not enough bowls for cereal and not enough hand or face towels for all of us to use. There is one bedroom downstairs off the kitchen and the TV room,so it was in the middle of these two rooms and could get loud if people stayed up too late or woke up early. Otherwise it was a nice bedroom. There is a large kitchen/dining room which was nice and the living room was also quite large with lots of seating. Great art throughout the home painted by the owner. We had a nice family reunion here!Good communication with owner

Perfect house for our annual girl’s trip. Plenty of room for 6 adults. We loved watching the sunsets and moon rises from the back porch. Would definitely recommend.

Spacious and comfortable home with nice peekaboo water views and tranquil surroundings. Chickens give you eggs and there is a friendly and vocal outdoor cat.
