About this villa rental
Nestled in the charming rural area of Episkopi, this traditional stonewall villa offers a truly idyllic retreat. Boasting a private pool with stunning mountain views, this two-bedroom villa with a size of 133 sqm and suitable for up to 6 people is the perfect oasis for a family or group getaway.
The villa has a two-story layout. Entering the villa on the ground floor there is a cozy living room providing a comfortable space to unwind, with a flat-screen TV and smart entertainment system. Adjusted to the living room there is a dining area. Furthermore, in this level, there is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen, complete with all the modern appliances you could need, including a dishwasher and coffee machine and a second large shower/WC with hydromassage. On the same level there is a tastefully furnished master bedroom with a double queen's-size bed and ensuite shower/WC.
The upper floor, reached through a wooden staircase, offers a master bedroom with a queen's-size bed and a large veranda with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Additional sleeping arrangements include a single bed in the common area under the staircase that leads to the upper bedroom and a single sofa bed in the living room.
Outside, you'll find a lush garden, complete with a barbecue area and outdoor dining furniture, perfect for alfresco meals. The private pool is a real highlight, offering a refreshing dip on those warm, sunny days. Sun chairs and umbrellas are provided for a relaxing time under the Cretan sun.
The surrounding area of Mylopotamos is truly captivating. The village of Episkopi is a beautiful small village with a tavern operating in the summer. The beautiful Bali beach is just 14km away while the charming town of Rethymno is a 32km drive, offering all amenities a city offers and many attractions worth visiting. Heraklion airport is conveniently located just 50km from the villa.

We had a wonderful holiday here and would come back in a heartbeat.
The villa was beautiful and perfectly situated, the property met all of our needs and was of a very high standard.
Christina was wonderful and our toddler adored her too! She couldn't do enough to ensure we felt at home and we were so grateful to be so considerately taken care of. She had a meal waiting for us when we arrived after a delayed flight and also cooked a Cretan meal for us during our stay, as well as organising for fresh bread to be delivered to the property.
No notes, it was all wonderful.

When you walk through the garden and fruit trees and pick your fruit for the morning was priceless. The house keeper was remarkable. I wish I could have brought her with me.
The only thing I would improve on is hiring a car for the day because to go to the old city back to the villa was 50 euros one way.
