Lena, from the company managing the house, was helpful and kind despite all the problems this house has. She offered to reimburse us when we tried to leave to another place, which we finally could not find because of peak season.
The view is fantastic, it’s a pity the owner does not invest to make the house worth renting. Don’t go until it’s refurbished. You will ruin your holidays.
The tap water has a horrible metal smell and taste (rust), you can’t throw paper into the toilet, the equipments are old and rusty, electricity breaks down every time one uses the oven, the bathroom is old and dirty and after one shower the draining does not keep up and builds a foamy rusty bubble mountain in the middle of the bathroom, the rooms downstairs have no air conditioning, the kitchen is old and the cooking plate full of rust, the fridge does not keep up and if they bring you a second fridge it’s one that looks like from the 1980’s, one room has no light by the bed at all.
We had a terrible stay and a part of us left earlier. The company managing the property kept saying the water problem comes from the town, but no restaurant bathroom or other house in the area we visited had this problem. Not even the shower on the public beach. They promised a filter that never came. Our bed sheets got yellow from the rust of the water. See pictures.
