I visited my daughter in Portland, and this home worked out great for our stay. The drive to her place was only about 15-20 minutes with no traffic, so it was very convenient.I was traveling with my other two adult children, and the three bedrooms with queen beds were ideal for us. The house looked exactly as shown in the listing—clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked with essentials like trash bags, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishes, utensils, cups, and glasses. I didn’t do any cooking during our stay, so I can’t comment on the cookware.The garage is on the smaller side, so larger vehicles might be a tight fit, but there is a driveway available. There also appears to be street parking if you have more than one car. We found the neighborhood to be quiet. It was also convenient to supermarkets and other stores.The owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Overall, it was a great stay.

The house itself had ample space for the 5 of us. It is located close to freeways and shopping. The neighborhood was quiet for how tightly packed together the homes were. Parking is a crap shoot if you have more than 1 car. You absolutely could not fit a car in the garage unless it was the tiniest car on the planet. The street parking fills up at night with all the neighbors cars. We ended up parking 1 car permanently on the street and just used 1 car for getting around. The host was great at communication. He always answered promptly. My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the home. Upstairs, no problem. The carpet, bathrooms and rooms were clean. Downstairs was a disaster! Nothing had been cleaned. The table and placemats were sticky and full of crumbs from the last guests. There were drips and dirty spots on the walls, the floor turned my feet black, dirt, dust and grass were swept under the runners, the toilet downstairs didn’t look clean, the baseboards were filthy and there was a pile of crumbs swept over in the corner by the refrigerator. I immediately brought this to the hosts attention and sent him photos. He offered to have the cleaners come back in and clean, however, I didn’t trust leaving my things in the house since they had already lied to him about the cleaning and I found it inconvenient to pack everything up. So, I declined and we just cleaned everything the best we could. I would also suggest a rope ladder for fire safety upstairs. Smoke alarms present.

The plan was as advertised. Owners are extremely responsive and helped us when needed. Beds were comfortable and the place was a fit for 5 people. If you are going to be in Vancouver this is recommended.
