Step back in time in this traditional half-timbered holiday home in Willingshausen, dating back to the late Middle Ages. With 3 bedrooms, it comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, making it perfect for families or groups. Unwind on the private terrace after a day of exploring.
The town center, just a short stroll away, offers shops, cozy cafés, and restaurants where you can enjoy everything from quick snacks to full 3-course meals. For nature lovers, the nearby forest, only 800 meters away, is ideal for walks and outdoor excursions.
Inside, the home is heated for your comfort and features a wood stove in the living-bedroom area, creating a warm, cozy atmosphere. Outside, the furnished garden boasts a barbecue, perfect for delicious meals. Three bicycles are provided to help you discover the charming surroundings. Families will appreciate the children’s bed, and up to 3 pets are welcome for a small fee. Parking is available on site, and public transport can be accessed just 100 meters away.

Das Hirtenhaus in Willingshausen ist wirklich ein wunderbares Feriendomizil. Wir wurden durch die Vermieterin mit frischen Apfelkuchen und einer großen Portion Gastfreundschaft begrüßt. Bei Fragen rund um die Umgebung (Ausflugsziele etc.) wurde uns sehr geholfen. Das wunderschöne Fachwerkhaus ist sehr urig eingerichet (sowie es sein soll) und strahlt komplette gemütlichkeit aus. Fühlten uns sofort Zuhause. Die Einrichtung war genau abgestimmt auf das Alte Fachwerk. Das moderne Bad ist wirklich ein Traum. Einziges minimini Manko ist: Menschen über 1,65 m bitte Kopf einziehen wenn Ihr durch die Türe wollt. Aber hey! das gehört bei einem alten Fachwerk umbedingt dazu. Das Haus beherbert viele tolle Kunstwerke und man entdeckt soviel interresantes. Wollen gern wiederkommen und nehmen auch gern die Beule am Kopf in Kauf. Willingshausen ist definitv mehrere Besuche Wert.

Zur Begrüßung gab es Kaffee und Kuchen. Es ist etwas wie „Wohnen im Museum“. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll, gemütlich und praktisch. Im Winter hatten wir die Wahl zwischen dem Heizen mit Holz oder dem Andrehen der Ölheizung. Unsere Kinder haben sich für die erste Möglichkeit entschieden. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig in einem kleinen Ort. Wir konnten gut zwischen den Feldern spazieren gehen.

The stay at the Hirtenhaus We really liked. Especially the very friendly reception. The house offers many opportunities, both for internal and entertainment as a base for many beautiful towns and castles. In short: a must! JH van Frisky
