Romantic getaway with terrace in Ghent

The location was excellent; very central and within easy walking distance of Ghent’s main attractions, cafés, and shops. Check-in and key collection were smooth and straightforward. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for a relaxing stay.

No complaints. Everything met expectations and functioned well. Staff were quick to respond to any issues or questions online. The space was exactly as advertised online with pictures and text.

Prima locatie vlakbij centrum. Fijn appartement.

Instructies in de Huswell app om binnen te komen klopten niet. Regendouche werkte niet, alleen handdouche.

We went for the Christmas markets 2025 and the apartment's location left us a short walk which was handy. The apartment was pet friendly. Paid parking is available close.

Administration was terrible. There are far too many hoops to jump through with registering and using booking numbers that don't work. It is not a simple booking. The pictures they sent so that you could check in were not accurate making a phone call to retrieve keys required. And they leave out a narrow spiral staircase with not the most stable handrail in the facility desription which made it awful for getting luggage too and from. No check in until 5pm and checkout 10am unless you want to pay very over priced fees. 29 euro for rubbish collection. If you check under the bed or look at the toothbrush holder you can see that the cleaners are in and out in ten minutes and are not thorough. The rain shower did not work so we had to use a wand the whole time. And the terrace with city views is of a grubby courtyard where no amount of sunshine would make you want to sit outside.
