About this house rental
Old, rustic bakehouse in the heart of the Eifel, near the Luxembourg border.
Beautifully furnished with a mix of modern and rustic touches. The old bread oven is a real centerpiece.
On the spacious courtyard with ample parking, you can charge your electric car for free.
1 bedroom (160 cm bed), 1 single bed (80 cm). The bakehouse accommodates up to four guests.
The large entrance area features the impressive old bread oven – a true highlight.
Rooms are well equipped, including a charming 40-year-old country kitchen with oak countertops, a large cooktop, big fridge with freezer, and an oak dining table for six. From here, you step directly onto the terrace.
The bathroom is lovingly designed, with antique stone basins set on oak boards. Enjoy both a shower and bathtub for your comfort.
A narrow staircase leads upstairs, where you’ll find a single bed, a small workspace, and a view of the massive stone oven chimney.
Upstairs is also the small but lovely bedroom with a tiny walk-in closet and dressing table.
Wi-Fi, electricity, heating, and water are included.
You’ll have the entire detached bakehouse to yourselves, including the terrace with garden furniture and plenty of parking.
Not suitable for small children or guests with limited mobility, as the upper floor is only accessible by a narrow staircase.

Pros: The house didn't feel like a vacation home in the sence that it had pretty much everything a home also has. We felt at home very quickly. Beautifully decorated and all the amenities were if good quality. Host was very responsive as well.
Cons: The stairs we're a little tricky, more than we had expected in advance.
I would have liked a little instruction for the oven in the kitchen, how to reach a good heat for the wood fired sauna and perhaps a little info on restaurants in the area (for example the two closest ones on Google maps weren't actually serving food).

We have really enjoyed our little vacation in this lovely little house with our dog.
Everything was clean and cosy decorated. We also had a beautifull view♡
