App cosi Ile Saint Laurent Chalon Sur Saone

Location is excellent. Short walk across the bridge into the centre of town. Plenty of restaurants to choose from on the same street. Apartment is equipped with everything I can think of that I would want in my own house.

Lighting in the living room could have been more, warmer. I personally found the atmosphere in the bedroom 'warmer' than in the living room, but that could also have been due to the grey, rainy weather during my stay.

Die Lage ist für einen Besuch in Chalon perfekt, man ist in 5 min. an der Kathedrale. Die Wohnung ist mit allem eingerichtet was benötigt wird für einen Aufenthalt, auch die Lage in der belebten Innenstadt ist nicht störend. Selbst unser Hund war sehr willkommen. Der Vermieter empfängt die Gäste persönlich was wir immer einem Schlüsselsafe vorziehen. Der Restaurantipp war super und der Kontakt sehr nett. Sollten wir noch einmal in diese Gegend reisen, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder

Great spot, very close to everything you want to see. The apartment is on a pedestrianised street full of bars and restaurants with every possible choice of cuisine you could want, Moroccan, African, Mexican, Indian, Lebanese, French etc. unfortunately when we visited many were closed for holidays but I’m sure would be great when more in the holiday season. Apartment is well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. There are a few narrow/steep steps up to the apartment so if you’re less able this could be a challenge Plentiful and free parking immediately behind the accommodation. Short walk over the bridge into town, good overnight option. Welcoming to dogs which is really useful.

Keys are not in a key box the owner will meet you at the property so late night check in might be a problem. I personally prefer the less personal/more incognito arrival styles as we had to tell the owner what time we were arriving which is challenging and less flexible when you’re travelling through, doesn’t allow for much free-spirited exploring if you’re stuck to a set arrival time. We were also asked immediately what time we were leaving for the cleaners and because there was another arrival coming which was a bit annoying as the arrival and check out times are clearly listed and which we would adhere to. Hosts were perfectly lovely and left a small gift of lavender and jam but sometimes you just want a bit of freedom to come and go as you please within reasonable remits.
