The location next to walkable meadows, a playground and easy access to a bus or train and a grocery store were great!
There were no places to grab a bite to eat in walking distance besides the grocery store. The back doors were tricky to lock. (Not a big deal.) The mattresses were very uncomfortable.

We felt like Kirknewtonians within a day. Sheep in the backyard. Highland cows around the corner. Friendly people everywhere. Can highly recommend it!

The location, parking, beautiful building with lots of potential.
Fire broken and dirty and not set. No remote for Kitchen TV, kitchen clock no battery, kitchen tap loose, coffee machine flooded work top, cracked crockery, bathroom lino coming up, no hand towels, bed linen un ironed, smelly scatter cushions, curtain rail hanging off wall, diffusers all empty, cobwebs and dust pockets. No welcome pack or information about property. No side lamp in downstairs bedroom.
