This grand Scottish castle blends centuries of history with modern comfort, making it the perfect setting for your Scottish adventure. With a magnificent great hall, vaulted chambers, spiral staircases, a secret passageway, and even a four-poster bed, the Manor House offers a truly unforgettable experience.

Ground Floor – Vaulted chambers with a fully equipped kitchen and dining room
First Floor – Stunning great hall with timber-beamed ceiling, huge stone fireplace, swords, and tapestries — ideal for gatherings
Top Floor – Four spacious bedrooms (3 doubles, 1 twin) with dormer windows overlooking the gardens
Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms/shower rooms
One large separate family bathroom
Features include central heating, double glazing, and all modern comforts to ensure a warm and pleasant stay in every season.

We came on holiday for birthdays and were very thrilled to stay at Plane Castle. The history of the property is amazing, the introduction by our host Charlie was spectacular and it was an amazing holiday experience in Scotland. We all highly recommend this stay!

It was very fun and interesting to stay in a real castle complete with tiny hidden stairs and unique architecture. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and amenities were disappointing. Many lamps didn't work, the clothes washer didn't work, Wi-fi service was intermittent, and some windows wouldn't close due to vines growing into them. Add to that, the kitchen counters were grimy, the microwave was filthy, and we had to wash dishes prior to using them (dishes and cutlery were put away dirty).
