We have been to southview before and enjoyed it, hence our return. We like how you tend to get a bit of nature wherever you are on the park because of the small ponds/ lakes that sit between the caravans.The van was clean and spacious. The main room had plenty of storage and the bonus of an en-suite.The smaller room had two standard twin beds, bedding was all clean and fresh on arrival. The kitchen was standard size with an open plan living room again all clean and tidy. I imagine you can have a selection of people in these vans, people that respect your things and people who don't give a dam about breaking things, as it's not their property, I think over the years this has happened and it tells in some areas of the caravan. The bathroom was super, looked to be new,we arrived to a van with heating and no issues with the water, throughout our stay. It was cold outside so this was a bonus when returning for the evening. A smart TV is in place( you need to tether from your phone of you want to use the smart apps, a selection of dvds if required. Tea towels and hand towels were provided and clean, an electric fire also worked if needed.if it would have been a warmer time of year then the outside space was a great size for a family to enjoy the outdoors, parking was ample. There is a hoover and a sweeping brush for the outside areas if needed.
I think the caravan could benefit from a few new items. The sofa bed in the living room could do with being replaced with a newer more up to date bed, my father slept on this , we were a family of 3 adults and 1 child. the sofa is rather uncomfortable ( he was adamant he would sleep on it) but he utilised all the cushions and made it as comfortable as he could, it's just a little dated, by replacing you could very easily change the overall feal and rating here, it's much needed. The microwave could do with updating, we struggled to heat food quickly, but doubled the cooking time to fix this, however this would only add to the electric bill in the end. A new toaster wouldn't go a miss, again just a little dated. You have all the basics you need, scissors, utensils, pots and pans and I suppose we used more of these as we ate at the van for breakfast and supper. A blind in the main bathroom could do with being replaced, again no doubt damaged by others which must be an ongoing issue at times. The outside patio furniture is worn and could do with replacing, I imagine in the nicer months to sit outside would be great and the current table and chairs are damaged, which again no doubt happens due to weather and other reasons.
I'd add also :
A further toilet brush in the main bathroom.
New dustpan and brush
New waste bin
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, a lovely lady who clearly spends a lot of time sorting each van out before another customer arrives, things go through general wear and tear but again depending on who stays will depend on how they leave the van. Debbie does a good job, you can see that but if people looked after other peoples property things would last alot longer!

Caravan dose what it says. Basic and practical. Caravan size was good for 6 of us. Decent cooker and the washing machine although we didn’t use was a good thought to have with our children.
The only thing I didn’t like was the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Lots of spiders on the bed once we pulled it out. This is reflected in our comfort rating. We would give a 10 if it wasn’t for the sofa bed.

The location was lovely by the water with the ducks. Very clean and well set out.
Well equipped.
Did take a while for the fridge to get cold.
