About this apartment rental
Sunny 2-room apartment overlooking the rooftops of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.
The south-facing living room has plenty of natural light. Enjoy the green velvet sofa bed (sleeps 2) for reading or just hanging out. To work, of course, you have free wifi, and you can take advantage of a superb vintage orange table. The kitchen is equipped with a small oven, fridge, washing machine, kettle and espresso machine.
The bedroom has a double bed and a pleasant attic bath. There's a separate washbasin with hairdryer and towels. The tastefully designed toilet is separated by a sliding door. The room offers a breathtaking view of northern Paris and, above all, the Eiffel Tower.
A mini-dressing room (with closet and drawer) separates the two rooms. A curtain blocks the view between the two rooms.
The apartment is located in the heart of Paris, close to the Marais and République districts. Numerous restaurants, bakeries and shops are nearby.
The meticulous decoration of this sublime apartment gives it a unique charm. The seventies wallpaper, the orange table, the Série Noire book collection, everything has been thought of to immerse you in a little cocoon. We designed the space ourselves, shaping it in our own image. The most important thing for us is to offer a space that reflects who we are.

Our family of 3 enjoyed our 3-night stay in Sebastien's apartment. The location was great for us because it was near friends. It is a good location in general because it is a ~10-min walk to Place de la Republic, a major metro hub, with some pretty cafes along the way, and also close to Oberkampf and 2 other metro stations.
The place is just as it appears in the photos. The bathtub is a few feet from the main bed. There was plenty of hot water & the pressure was great. The beds were very comfortable. We loved having our morning coffee, from Sebastien's coffee press, at the kitchen table, enjoying the view of the Paris rooftops. From the apartment, we never heard any noise from outside.
The building entrance is in a wide alley that serves as an entrance for other buildings as well. On arrival, Sebastian met us on the busy, somewhat narrow street at the alleyway entrance. The alleyway has a very tall, wide metal door that is open all day. At night, when this door is closed, a code is required to enter the alley; then, you use an almost invisible person-sized door within the large right side to enter.
It is important to note there is no elevator in this old Parisian building and the apartment is on the 6th floor (7 levels, 120 steps). On arrival, Sebastien helped us with 1 of our 4 carry-on sized bags, but this would be difficult with large bags. Also, without bags, my wife and I (who hike a lot), had to pause at the 5th floor to catch our breath. Good exercise!
