The position of the cottage was fantastic. Much more central than I had thought - 10 minutes walk to the centre of town.
The beds could have been more comfortable and sturdy.

It is central with a nice riverside walk through meadows very near. Beds were comfortable. Heating worked properly and there was good hot water and a bath. Cooker worked well. Host was responsive to questions. It was very clean and there were lots of towels, including large bath towels. Parking at the back was very convenient.
The property is on a busy roundabout with constant traffic noise through the day and evening. The photo of the cottage does not reveal that it is between two shops, one of which has deliveries at 4am. There was a row of wheely bins outside the property which were not in the photo. It was difficult to cook - no saucepan lids or strainer of any kind. The living room area was small and narrow. There were only two of us but for a larger party seating would have been a problem.
