While the property clean, comfortable and well furnished, we dealt with several cockroaches (somewhat given in a coastal town but still gross), there wasn’t a folder with instructions left out so we did the best we could when we left, the wifi network and password sent by VRBO were wrong, and though the owner Eddie (who had been contacted because the check-in lock box code sent by VRBO was also wrong), gave me his cell number, I hesitated to contact him at 9:30 at night when my friend could just use her hotspot to complete some work things. The other thing that we found strange is that the bath towels were very small; they barely wrapped around our heads/hair. All of these things were small inconveniences and easily dealt with, but not what you pay for when booking through a vacation rental management company.

Awesome location. Close to everything. Not that it was a bad thing because we didn’t spend much time in the house but it could use more seating in the TV area.

The house was cute, but it wasn’t very clean. The bathroom toilet still had traces of feces in it, as did the toilet cleaning brush. The bathroom as a whole wasn’t very clean, traces of pee on the wall as well. The backyard wasn’t mowed at all, I told them I had 2 small dogs and the grass was nearly up to my waist. The window had been broken on the outside pane, just several things that could have been fixed for a better stay. Overall I loved the location but wish the house was better prepped for guests to stay.
