A very thoughtfully designed annex to a modern property. A brilliant couples retreat, as suggested by the blurb. We were wowed with a super bottle of bubbly, very much enjoyed. A fantastic location with a great pub restaurant on a river bank just a few minutes walk. A selection of shops was available. Having a private garden was fabulous for our canine companion (and humans had this had been a summer break). Whilst we did not meet the owners they had gone to a lot of effort to provide plentiful information about the property and immediate area (through their own brochures). From time to time you could hear the owners in the property above but no more so than in a flat or regular hotel.
Nothing to dislike at all. The en-suite was great but with a frosted door perhaps would bother some couples.

Perfect for one night that we needed and close to local amenities. Had everything we needed for one night including milk, biscuits, tea bags and toiletries.
Was an amount of pet hair which we assume was from previous guests. Only 1 toilet roll supplied.

The host had thought of everything; it exceeded expectations. An added bonus was being able to park. It was a lovely room with everything I needed, including access to a private garden; I highly recommend.

Location facilities and that they allowed dogs. Having an enclosed garden was a bonus. Lovely to have a coffee machine and toast to make breakfast.
I need a chair with a back in to sit and watch the TV etc I took a chair in a bag and that was fine.
