Fantastic apartment and brilliant caring hospitality.
No signage on house so we drove past it 4 times before we were confident that we had the right place.

We loved our stay here! It felt very comfortable like a family home, and the owner Nikola (who doesn’t live there) was very kind and helpful. The rooms are large, the beds are super comfy, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you need to cook meals at home. And there is a gorgeous view from the deck where you can sit and eat the most delicious grapes that grow right on the property, or sip wine from these grapes that is provided by the owner. The 10-15 minute walk to town was along a peaceful country road and we really enjoyed this as it’s quite beautiful. We also highly recommend the 4 hour private boat tour of the lake given by the owner’s family member! This was the highlight of our trip — not to be missed!

Het appartement ligt op loopafstand van het kleine, maar drukke centrum van Virpizar. Van de hectiek daar merk je in Pavle’s Oasis niets. De woning is ruim, compleet uitgerust en zeer schoon. De eigenaar is niet alleen vriendelijk, maar ook zéér behulpzaam. Een ‘must’ is de individuele 4 uur durende boottocht over het meer van Kotor verzorgd door de broer van de eigenaar. Een aanrader: rijd de panoramische routes richting Cetinje (3 routes) en Bar.
De inrichting is enigszins gedateerd, maar past ook wel bij de tijd die Montenegro heeft doorgemaakt. Wat ons enorm tegenviel was hoe meerdere Montegrijnen menen te moeten omgaan met hun schitterende natuur. Op vele ‘verlaten’ plekken dumpt men afval, complete bankstellen, koelkasten, meubels e.d. achter de vangrail of naast de overvolle vuilcontainers.

This is an absolutely wonderful apartment in a picturesque little village about 15 minutes walk from Virpazar. The views from the apartment and terraces were amazing. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished and has everything you could possibly need. Nikola is a delightful host and came to meet us soon after we arrived. He made us feel very welcome and we felt completely at home. My husband and I travel a lot and have stayed in numerous apartments over the years but Pavle's Oasis has been BY FAR the best. If I could give it 11 out of 10 I would. Thank you, Nikola, for sharing your oasis with us. And for those of you reading this review, book it quickly. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
