Cute place with very nice owner-managers. Pleasant balcony. There's a small beach a few steps away. Walking distance to ferry docks.
Though the hotel is quite nice, the surrounding neighborhood is pretty shabby and requires walking past derelict buildings to reach the nearer restaurants. Though a small beach is adjacent, the main beaches and most activities are beyond walking distance and require taking a tuktuk.

We had such a wonderful stay at this family-run hotel in Koh Lanta. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming.
The couple who run the hotel are incredibly kind and attentive, always available if we needed anything and happy to share great local tips. The rooms were spotless, the views were beautiful, and you can really feel the care they put into every detail.
From the thoughtful decorations to the beautiful, lush plants around the property, everything adds to a cozy, homelike atmosphere.
It’s a small hotel, but so full of heart. We’d absolutely come back!

MP Place is run by an extremely hospitable couple, that were helpful in everything we needed - from recommendations to booking a minivan and experiences. This really is the highlight of the place - It's similar to a B&B, with a warm feeling, decorated with plants and other small details that made us feel very comfortable. It's right by the beach, and a short walk away from restaurants in the Saladan pier.
