Great Nights stay. Right in the middle of the Barbican on the harbour and a great house - well maintained, clean and tasteful interior with a relaxed feeling.
Booking in was a nightmare as Plymouth didn't have a phone signal anywhere that day for some reason, so made it all a bit stressful. Cottages.com didn't put the codes on the email and its isn't very clear when you book through vrbo that its another company that send the email out. looks like spam.
I just read it as, everything is on your booking so took it as vrbo app but its cottages.com - so after asking the shop below for his wi-fi (he offered and was so lovely and helpful) managed to get on the chat with vrbo and finally called the owner. Supper helpful and will contact cottages to sorts the correct codes out.
but that'a minor thing, in all fairness I should have sorted it before we left! but once in, its a cracker, lounge and rooms good quality, decor is lovely - noisy bikers run up and down the barbican but we are country dwellers and not townies..... so all that noise comes with town living and its nice to see the bikes.
It's nice to be down at the front and near the Hoe - short walk into the city, daughter is at the uni and she had a nice room to stay in for a couple of nights.
It's an old building so don't expect a new build - it was a lovely stay and I'm glad we booked it with the rooms, never got to sit out in the top open garden but its there for next time. :-)
