About this house rental
Stop looking. You found the perfect home to ride, row, and relax in the Pacific Northwest just south of Lake Whatcom. This beautiful, lakeside, private home is the ideal getaway to revel in nature and many local outdoor activities. Nestled between the hills and the lake, this is a peaceful place to get away from the busy city, yet a short, scenic drive to the exciting things that make the Bellingham/Fairhaven area so unique and special.

* Less than 6 miles off of I-5
* 15 minutes to the Galbraith Trailhead
* 30 minutes from Bellingham International Airport
* 85 miles from Seattle
* 55 miles from Mt Baker
* 30 miles to the Canadian border
LIVING SPACE
A spacious 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath with separate family room and living room for up to 9 guests. The street level has the master bedroom with a queen bed, ensuite master bath, living room, kitchen, dining room, half bath, and a full garage for private parking.
Downstairs consists of 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, full bath, family room, and laundry room with a full-size high-efficiency washer and dryer. The family room has a ground-level sliding glass door that exits directly to a private backyard and lake access.
The family room downstairs has a full-size sofa bed. This room has its own door off the hallway so it can be used as an additional private bedroom if needed.
The upstairs living room has a twin-size sofa bed.
The living room and family room each have a TV with Blu Ray Player with Prime video streaming.
Kick back and relax in the built-in recliners on the upstairs couch and the gray love seat downstairs.
The dining room has table seating for 8 and two bar stools at the counter.
There is a table & chairs out on the deck overlooking the lake.
Barbecue grill on the deck, conveniently located off the dining room.
Full-size kitchen with toaster, blender, drip coffee maker, microwave, oven, cooking utensils, non-stick/stainless steel pots and pans, cutlery, dishware & flatware.
Plus, 2 kayaks are available to explore the lake right in the backyard and a variety of life vests to fit all guests.
The garage has a bike rack for storing mountain bikes. Need to make repairs? No problem. A bike stand and tools are available so you can get back on the trails as soon as possible.
Access to the backyard and lakefront requires inside stairs or a sloped gravel lane outside and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.
Your safety matters: There is a doorbell security camera, exterior security cameras, and a camera in the garage that monitors the garage door. There are no cameras in the living areas.
