In general, I'm very happy with the choice to stay here. It's a lovely house, with a large living room, a dining room and four reasonably-sized bedrooms. Everything was very clean upon arrival, the heating was effective, and there's a driveway for parking, a large TV, and good internet. The hosts communicated all information effectively and have left a folder with instructions for appliances and tips for the main places of interest.
We are familiar with the area and chose the house because of its location - it's on a quiet street in a pleasant, residential part of town and has a supermarket a couple of minutes' drive or a 15-minute walk away. It's also convenient for the Tollgate retail centre and the zoo. For anyone with an EV, there's a charging station located about halfway between the house and the supermarket on Dugard Avenue.
We felt that the kitchen was a little short on equipment, especially for stays longer than ours. As it was, having a blender and more kitchenware would have been useful. I would also have expected to find a corkscrew.

Location was really good. Spacious house with parking, but not properly managed.
Cleanliness was below par. Garden was full of weeds. Some of the amenities provided were in bad condition. Iron box was burned and it damaged my t-shirt. Our parents did not stay at the property due to lack of cleanliness and hence the holiday trip was messed up. We complained and the host tried their best to compensate. Otherwise I would have rated a 4 as disappointing.
