About this house rental
Escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature at this modern mountain retreat! Whether you spend the day adventuring on the lake or mountain just a few miles away, you can end your day making meals in the gourmet kitchen, grilling, playing games, relaxing by the fire, and breathing that fresh mountain air. This cozy cabin was designed to bring loved ones together under one roof to create those beautiful core memories enjoying the outdoors without sacrificing comfort. Come visit!
The space
Whether you walk up the steps and through the front door or the oversized garage, you enter into the Great Room – the heart of our home. Here, you will find a light and bright space with vaulted ceilings, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with counter seating, a gorgeous dining table, and a cozy seating area in front of the fireplace. Near the patio door and past the bar area, you will find the master suite with a king-sized bed, a dedicated workspace with a WiFi printer, and a spacious ensuite bathroom containing a separate tub and shower. Also on the main level is a powder room as well as a laundry room for your convenience.
Upstairs, you will find a crafting and gaming area just outside of the upstairs master bedroom. In that upstairs master, you will find a queen-sized bed and private bathroom with a tub and shower. Next to the upstairs master is a children’s room containing two twin-sized bunk beds. The children’s room is connected to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a shower and tub, which connects to the final room that can be used as a hangout location with an actually comfortable king-sized pull out couch and TV, or the room can be used as a bedroom.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the entire place, and the only locked area is the supply closet beneath the stairs. Please make yourself at home!
Other things to note
Please note that the City has specific requirements that we must observe:
1. Live check-ins are required by the person making the reservation, and you will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay.
2. Outdoor activities are prohibited from 10pm until 7am.
3. Amplified sound is not permitted outdoors at any time.
4. Indoor sound cannot be audible at the property line.
5. All vehicles are required to carry chains from November through April.
6. There is no street parking (you may use the garage or driveway).
7. There is still ongoing construction in the neighborhood, but never during the quiet hours of 10pm-7am.
Please also note: typical of properties in this area, this home does not have air conditioning.

Happy, happy, happy! The home was beautiful and clean - location was walking distance to Alpine Slide and the Village - the homeowner was kind, inviting, and helpful. Family had a wonderful time and made happy memories. We will be returning in the future.
