At 800m above sea level it borders Pescinello natural park. Here, the shops and bars practice the slow way of life that adds to the Tuscan charm. By contrast adrenaline seekers will want to head 18Km up Monte Amiata to downhill ride one of Tuscany's highest peaks at the Amiata Free Ride Bike Resort. The more relaxed spa town of Saturnia at 20Km boasts Etruscan ruins, hot springs and a piazza lined with divine restaurants including one that serves the best ravioli ever! For wine lovers, the home of Morellino di Scansano is at 30Km where you can discover their fresh crisp wines. Away from the crowds, this resort helps you discover a Tuscany you didn't know.
