Il Mandorlo, consisting of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom, is located on the ground floor of the Vignagrande farm 1.5 km from the town of Saturnia and the spa.
The Vignagrande farm, of which the Mandorlo apartment is part, is located on the right hand side at kilometer 7,6 of the Provincial Road of Follonata, after passing the crossroads leading to the town of Saturnia, coming from Montemerano.
An avenue of cypresses from the gate leads to the complex of buildings in the middle of a lawn dotted with medicinal plants and fruit trees, surrounded by cypresses.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a large olive grove, on the heights overlooking the Terme di Saturnia.
The Mandorlo apartment is composed of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, a living / dining room,
kitchen with 4 burner plate, fridge, dishes and various dishes
The bathroom is with shower, sink, w. c. and bidet.
The entrance to the apartment leads to a twin bedroom and the living room.
The comfortable equipped kitchen opens onto the living room, from here a short corridor leads to the double bedroom and the bathroom. The heating of the farmhouse is central. WiFi available.
In front of the front door there is a pergola under which there are chairs, table and deck chairs for being outdoors or having dinner in the farmhouse garden.
Agreement with the Terme di Saturnia for entry to the swimming pools.

From Saturnia with short excursions you can reach the most suggestive destinations of the Maremma: in Sovana the Palazzo Pretorio, the Cathedral and the Etruscan Tombs, in Pitigliano the Fortress and the medieval village, the Orsini fortress in Sorano and the Ucellina Natural Park nearby at the port of Talamone.

Before we arrived there, I wasn't quite sure because the requirements with documents for registering for the holiday house seemed to be a bit complicated but it was all at the end fine. We really enjoyed the stay there! The lady who received us was very kind and we could always ask the host when we needed something.
The house was in a beautiful quiet natural surroundings, between hills with olive trees, fields and forests of south Tuscany. Very near from the hot spring of Saturnia and the rooms of the house were spacious and clean.
One can also buy a wonderful olive oil from the farm!
