Fox at Burrow Away is a stunning Cotswold holiday home which sleeps four guests, in two bedrooms, with a family bathroom. Nestled on the owner's farm and made of honey-coloured Cotswold stone, this stunning barn conversion has beautiful oak beams, unrivalled views across the rolling Charlbury countryside and exquisite personal touches that can be found throughout. With original artwork inspired by Fox's surroundings, handcrafted soft furnishings and stylish country décor, the open plan living space with its cosy seating and well-equipped kitchen lends itself for the perfect social setting for all guests.
Fox can be booked either on its own, or with Rabbit which sleeps two guests and a child in the adjacent property.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk

Please note this is a working farm and dogs will need to be kept on the lead at all times as the garden is not enclosed. Dogs must also be up to date with worm and flea treatment due to the proximity of livestock. There is a footpath from the property that guests are welcome to use - we recommend bringing a dog towel
Please note there is CCTV located on the drive to the farm, however, there is no CCTV overlooking the property

We had a great time at Fox. Great location for seeing everything and wonderful views. Owners very nice.
Only thing we missed was a dog friendly garden but would go back. Lovely little house.

This was our first visit to the Cotswolds, to visit family in Charlbury and also to tour Oxfordshire. The Fox accomodation was excellent, probably the best place we have ever rented. The rooms were spacious and very clean and well equiped. However we did miss not having a microwave cooker. Being located on a farm, it was a bit of a long drive up the unmade road however it was so lovely and peaceful. The views were spectacular from the lounge area. We saw the wildlife, and beautiful sunsets across the fields.The owners were perfect hosts living nearby. We were able to go for walks along the public footpaths, exploring Spelsbury and the surrounding area. The Fox was ideally located for venturing further afield. Not very far from Charlbury railway station to take us into Oxford. We also visited Bourton-on-the-water, and Stow-on-the-wold, both charming. We would be happy to return at some time in the future.

Beautiful cottage on a working farm! Hosts incredibly friendly and accommodating! Used it as a prep space for our wedding and hosts couldn't do more for us.
Beautiful views, short walk to charlbury.
Accomodation is just what you need, clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at Fox,visited many fav places the weather was wonderful and it was a nice peaceful loctaion on the farm
the only things I could say to improve things is a microwave in the kitchen would be great also maybe something to improve the privacy in the garden area as there is no privacy at all when you sit out.
