About this house rental
Old Burford Cottage is the largest 2 bed on the High Street. The cottage was originally two cottages, but we have lovingly converted into one spacious cottage for upto 4 people. A beautiful cottage built in the region of 1840 to accompany The George Inn. Situated 10 yards off the famous Burford High Street, it is peacefully quiet and has been refurbished to an immaculate standard, whilst keeping tradition. The location is possibly the best in Burford, it’s genuinely amazing …location, location!
The space
Boasting a large open plan living area, two king size bedrooms, bathroom and downstairs loo. It’s super comfortable throughout for all ages.
Everything inside has been thought about, this is our 2nd holiday home and we think we’ve got it just right for your visit.
Guest access
There is a small car park that can be utilised during your stay. Once you arrive and park, you are ‘slap bang’ in the middle of Burford, but as said, it’s amazing as the archway from The Old George Inn does not allow cars, so super peaceful and quiet after you finish eating, walking or shopping in The Hill……Burford is idyllic and well worth a visit.

This property is very centrally located in Burford town centre and a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds

The apartment was exactly as described. It was spacious, very clean, well-stocked and conveniently located within Burford. It was a great home base for exploring the Cotswolds. The host was absolutely great and he showed a great deal of interest to make sure our stay was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at Steve’s cottage in Burford. Close to everything, cosy and inviting. We had a great time and would recommend the cottage to family and friends.
