The Appartment itself was beautiful and well appointed. The location was perfect, just at the harbour.
The property only had fans, no air conditioning. In the height of the summer and in a heat wave, this was quite uncomfortable.

Location, location, location. The apartment is in the heart of Villefranche’s old town. Open the main door and you have the port to your left, restaurants in front of you and also to the right. Wander up a few stairs and there is a grocery store and little shops to explore. The beach was a short walk away. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed - including a full washing machine and dryer. A lovely bottle of wine was waiting for us on the table. It is also really spacious with two large bedrooms, a big lounge and kitchen. The bathroom is quite small but really functional.
It was a little noisy at night and in the mornings due to being such a part of the village - people drinking in bars, rubbish trucks, restaurants putting out and bringing in bins etc - the noise was muffled by the windows which we kept closed to keep out the noise.

This apartment has a fantastic location right in the heart of town and steps away from the sea. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here. The apartment was clean and spacious. The property managers are very communicative and responded quickly any time I had a question. They also allowed an early check in which was really nice!
It is a 4th floor walk up and no elevator. Just be mindful that you'll be getting your steps in! :) Like all apartments in Europe, there is no A/C but that is to be expected.
