About this house rental
This house is in a perfect location. It is only 150 steps from Bay Street and all the wonderful restaurants and marvelous shops. The picturesque Siuslaw Bridge and River are right down the street.
It's a very quiet location and you'll sleep peacefully without the normal noises attributed to other places located next to late evening establishments.
Florence is consistently one of the top-rated places to visit. It's the starting and ending point of those tough enough to ride their bicycles 3000+ miles across America. It's also the Sand Boarding capital of the world. Have you ever heard of the infamous Exploding Whale of Florence, look it up! How about the novel Dune? Yes, the inspiration for one of the most influential science fiction novels of all time came from here. Eight houses north of this house is Captain Cox's 1897 home. He was the one who discovered the world-famous Sea Lion Caves. There are also 13 lakes in the area and the Siuslaw River as well.
Winter months, while normal drizzle is falling, are a good time to visit the local coffee shops. There are some exceptional souvenir shops and art galleries nearby. Local artists are exceptional!
You'll also hear a sound in the background. It is from the waves pounding the shore.
If after a full day of perusing the area, the dry sauna will soothe your aching muscles.

This house has everything you can hope for. The sauna was so nice at the end of a fall day. The selection of coffee pods is a nice touch. The owner left us a nice welcome gift. All in all, great experience.
