The location suited us well. Easy access to the harbour area and the city and close to our daughters address in Southville, an area we know well from previous visits.
I was glad we travelled to Bristol by train because, even with a parking permit it would not have been easy to find a pasrking space close to the address. Although all that was needed for a stay was available we thought the furnishings a bit minimilistic and the lack of one or two floor coverings to absorb the noise generated by bare boards would have been welcome.

It is a very loving home and you feel like it is your home
The room was not that much clean, and wood makes loud noises when the heater is turned on.

The property is located conveniently close to the harbourside with good access to cafes, museums and walks.
The house provides ample space for a family of four.
Decent shower
We found the property disappointing in terms of comfort. Firstly it was freezing cold when we arrived, and took a little while to warm up. For a family with small children this was pretty unacceptable.
The property can also do with a bit a cleaning. Cobwebs adorn the ceilings throughout. Cables behind the TV are an eyesore. Overall, although not dirty, the house did not feel particularly clean, particularly given the £75 cleaning fee.
The most disappointing thig for us was the comfort. The bed in the big bedroom is so hard an uncomfortable that my husband ended up with back pain after 3 nights of sleeping in it. The sofas in the lounge are old and really uncomfortable, not particularly inviting. Overall nothing is provided to say "here, get comfortable, feel at home!"
The heating system is in serious need of attention. Radiators banged and hissed loudly throughout the night keeping us all awake. This is no exaggeration - they were LOUD!
Also the house lacks basic love - there are no blankets, which would have been nice given it's a pretty cold house. No rugs - floors are slippery, my children slipped and fell numerous times. Everything seems like it's been done to to minimum standards, without any particular attention to detail or love.
Overall, we felt like the house needs some work and some love and it would be a great option for Bristol visitors. As it stands I would not recommend it to anyone due to lack of comfort.
